WordPress Countdown Widget is a free countdown plugin to display count-down and/or count-up timers on your post or sidebars. Use widget or shortcode; supports multiple instances. By default, countdown timers fit your theme colors and fonts.

You can use the countdown widget to display countdown timers to special events or you can use its count-up feature to display the time passed since a past event. See examples below:

How to Use Countdown Widget


Installation

  1. Download the widget and upload it to your server through WP Admin -> Plugins -> Add New -> Upload
  2. After the upload is complete activate the plugin.
  3. Go to Appearance -> Widgets page, drag and drop the widget to your sidebar.
  4. Fill in the blanks as needed, and done!
